Welcome to my creative hub!
For quite some time I’ve been juggling a few “roles” alongside my full time job… I must confess I wasn’t being very effective, and even though I was doing things I really love to do, due to the amount of things I was trying to juggle, overwhelm and frustration were a constant in my life.
Five websites, challenges, writing a novel… have I mentioned a full-time job?
It came to a point where I was so frustrated, and I was getting a bit confused, if you know what I mean… I was trying to be so many things at the same time that I ended up losing track of myself.
This is one of the worse things that can happen to a woman (well, I guess to ANY person, right?)
I started getting so confused about who I am and what I wanted to do for my life! That’s where the frustration and overwhelm were coming from. From me not know who I really am, what I really want to be doing with my life.
If you know what I’m talking about, and you’ve been (or are) in the same situation, you know how exhausting it can be.
So, here we are – I mean, here I am – on a journey to join the pieces of me into a beautiful, amazing and capable, unique being… Daniela Pesconi-Arthur, the woman who loves to read, write and to take photos. The woman who loves to help people, who has a great sense of humour, and is dedicated and resilient. The wife, the daughter, the sister, the wannabe mother, the friend, the worker, the writer. That’s all me, but at the same time, all in ONE. Only me.
I hope you like this change, and stick around. I’m sure amazing things are going to happen during this journey of discovery, and I’d love for you to join me.
What can you expect from this website then? Well, as I said, all my websites have come together now, like many rivers running into the ocean. I am the ocean! How cool is that? The other websites are linked in the slider above, and my main interests are just a click away below!
My debut novel, Loveandpizza.it. I couldn’t leave it out, right? It’s my “baby”; as they say: “blood, sweat and tears”. A chick-lit novel set in Naples, Italy. Fall in love with Carolina’s story, and the amazing Napolitan landscape!
I wrote this book to redeem myself for not trekking Snowdonia (in Wales), as I had
pledged to do for Marie Curie. I’m sure my mother would understand the “swap”. After all, she knew me better than anyone else in this world.
The work in progress. Crafts Bea is set in modern Cardiff, and follows Beatrice (Bea), a recently divorced woman in her early 30’s. After her last therapy session, Bea buys a sewing machine on an impulse while wandering around John Lewis.
I LOVE all things pretty! Especially when you can learn from them! Another one of my passions is for digital design, and I create workbooks/e-books to be used with my courses. You can find them here. (Plus, 10% discount! 😉
The Mighty Women is a personal development courses provider for women. We aim to help you regain your self-esteem and confidence, and guide you towards becoming a better you, and reaching your true, ultimate potential. Articles from collaborators.
This e-course starts with the planning stage, and as a student you’ll have access to valuable tips and tricks for writing a chick-lit novel (although a few of our first students went on to write a different genre!), as well as a workbook to help you organise your ideas.
